It is well known that Wikipedia is one of the most important sources of information in the world. Nevertheless, its content creation and management remains more or less unknown. This presentation aims to demystify Wikipedia so that its readers are able to better evaluate, criticize and navigate its content.

Creative Writing Workshop

For this year's installment of Francofête, the French Language Centre invites you to meet the author of Royaume scotch tape, Chloé Savoie-Bernard. The talk will be followed by a creative writing workshop in French.

Chloé Savoie-Bernard is also the author of short stories gathered in Des femmes savantes (Triptyque, 2016) and directed Corps (Triptyque, 2018).

The McGill Society of Montreal (MSM) is pleased to invite all alumni to a special French movie night! Join us for a screening of the movie L'Auberge espagnole (The Spanish Apartment), a dramatic comedy directed by Cédric Klapisch. While having roommates at McGill is quite common, this movie introduced Europeans to a new student living arrangement.

Francophone artist Karine Martineau offers larger-than-life portraits that pierce, through the gaze, into the viewers' souls. The artist will be present on Tuesday, March 24 from 3 to 5 pm to discuss her work and answer questions.
