Academic Expectations Workshops - Self-Care: Tips for a Healthy First Year - 1:30 - 2:30 p.m. Leacock Building, Room 26

University can be an exciting yet challenging time for many people. This panel discussion with current McGill students will contextualize some aspects of student life (such as academics, work-life balance and personal relationships) within a framework of health and well-being. The goal of this discussion is to help you recognize how self-care can be used as a strategy to achieve personal and academic success during your time at McGill.

Student Panel - What I Wish I'd Known Starting University for Undergraduates - 2:30 - 3:30 p.m. Leacock Building, Room 26

We’ve rounded up a panel of experts (aka current students - the very people who have been there and done it before) to share their experiences and advice on how they navigated their first year of university. The panel will cover academics, off-campus living, and everything in between. Take advantage of this opportunity to hear these words of wisdom and pick up some insider tips.

Discover McGill Services Fair - 3:30 - 4:30 p.m. Redpath Hall

This is when you can interact with representatives of the many and varied services that exist at McGill. Don't miss out on this opportunity to discover how you are supported both academically and personally throughout your studies. You will also receive your Discover McGill orientation package containing useful resource documents that you will want to keep on hand throughout your time at McGill.

COMunity Presents : Winter Wonderland - 5:00 - 7:00 p.m. McConnell Arena (Hockey Games starts at 7:30 p.m.)

Join us for an evening full of winter-related activities. There will be pizza, games, a hockey game and good company. You’ll also get a chance to mingle with upper-year students in smaller groups!  Open to ALL (graduate and undergraduate students). Pizza and hockey ticket included.
