New Student Mentorship Program - Mentee Sign-up!

The New Student Mentorship Program facilitates ongoing and meaningful connections between new and returning domestic (Canadian) McGill students. Incoming students (like yourself) are matched with a trained, upper-year mentor in the same faculty or department (when possible). Through regular, one-on-one check-ins throughout the academic year, your mentor will share valuable first-hand experience on how to navigate university life and campus resources. Monthly check-ins with mentors will include topics such as effective study strategies, student-life balance, campus resources, and goal setting.

Additional benefits:

  • Learn skills that contribute to academic and personal success
  • Understand how to access support and services
  • Build a meaningful relationship with members of the McGill student population

If you are an incoming, domestic (Canadian) undergraduate or graduate student (Masters or PhD) and would like to be matched with a mentor, please sign-in above to complete the form.

International students (both undergraduate and graduate) can apply to the International Student Services Buddy Program to receive a mentor.
