Pre-Departure Orientation Session
**Attention Nursing, PT, OT, and MDCM students**
An online pre-departure training is required for all Nursing, PT, OP, and MDCM students travelling outside of Canada (including the USA for OT or MDCM students) for a clinical elective or practicum, a clinical rotation during the family medicine clerkship period (rural special), an observership, or a research project.
Online pre-departure training for Nursing, PT, OP, and MDCM students is coordinated by McGill Global Health Programs office in collaboration with the Schools of Nursing, Physical and Occupational Therapy, and Medicine. If you are a Nursing, PT, OT, or MDCM student who is required to take the online course your name will be submitted to GHP by your program. Please check here for full details on the process. Nursing, PT, OT, and MDCM students do not need to sign up for the in-person training offered by the International Education Office twice a year. Questions can be directed to globalhealth [at] mcgill.ca.
