On May 15, McGill medical students and family physicians gathered to celebrate the end of the academic year, in particular the conclusion of the Longitudinal Family Medicine Experience (LFME) course. For the last eight months, all 183 first-year medical students have been paired with a family medicine preceptor, providing them with early exposure to primary care.
Drs. Fanny Hersson-Edery and Isabelle Vedel have both been named to the 2019 Faculty of Medicine Faculty Honour List for Educational Excellence. The Faculty Honour List for Educational Excellence recognizes outstanding contributions to education in McGill’s Faculty of Medicine, in the areas of teaching, educational leadership and innovation, faculty development, and research and scholarly activity.
