A new research literacy website is now online

The research literacy website, entitled Understanding Research/Comprendre la recherche is now online. Inspired by an idea of a patient partner, this site provides introductory information on research concepts, and ultimately aims to develop a common language and a shared understanding among all stakeholders involved in Patient Oriented Research.

Understanding Research / Comprendre la recherche is co-developed with patient partners. The website is organized in modules and includes PowerPoint slides, text, and video tutorials. The covered topics are introduction to science and research, research ethics, literature reviews, research methodologies, and knowledge translation. Everything is available in English and French.

Understanding Research / Comprendre la recherche is intended for patients, managers, clinicians and everyone interested in research and collaboration with researchers.

The website is developed by the Method Developments and Research Strategy in Partnership with Patients and the Public components of the Quebec SPOR Support Unit.
