The McCord Museum is located right near McGill's downtown campus. It celebrates the history of Montreal, its people and communities. The museum offers Sunday Workshops for children, Story Hours in connection with its exhibits, and is available for birthday parties.

Gault Nature Reserve
The Gault Nature Reserve protects 1000 hectares of natural primeval forests of the St. Lawrence Valley. Situated at Mont-Saint-Hilaire, approximately 40 km from Montreal, this panoramic natural landscape is ideal for discovering nature. The reserve is a federal home sanctuary and a provincial wildlife refuge. It is open year-round to visitors. Activities include hiking, birdwatching, skiing, and snowshoeing. Equipment rental and overnight accommodations are available.
