Please be advised that McGill University has mandated Corenov Constructeurs to carry out the following project: 22-028 Wong – Mezzanine renovation

Description: Renovations to 3M055 and office 3M030 to create one new lab space.

Construction start date: September 2024

Planned construction end date: February 2025

Work schedule: Monday to Friday, 6 a.m. to 3 p.m. Work outside of building hours will be coordinated in advance.

Scope of work:

The purpose of this project is to renovate mezzanine spaces 3M055 and 3M030 to create a functional lab space. The works include demolition of a gypsum wall, new finishes, new lighting, new outlets, a sink, an eyewash and shower station, a new fire-rated hallway leading to an egress, piping for gases, and two extraction hoods.

Impact & mitigation:

Some work may require service shutdowns (e.g., electrical, water). Building users will be informed in advance of these shutdowns.
