Primary audiences

While the homepage may serve others, our research indicates that the homepage design has the greatest impact — and greatest utility — for:

  • Prospective undergraduate and graduate students
  • Prospective faculty and staff
  • Other audiences looking for an introduction to McGill, or who don't know how to directly (via Google or a McGill subsite) access the content they need

This insight was gathered both from Analytic and quantitative data sets, as well as from the qualitative information from stakeholder interviews and insights provided by our project consultant, mStoner. See the "More info" box on the "Data and Findings" page to explore our data sources in greater detail. 

These audiences will inform our choices in the research and benchmarking activity, and play an important role in orienting the Design Planning & User Testing phase of the project.
