Mandate of Class Schedule Advisory Workgroup:
- Investigate best practices for the creation of class schedules that increase student choice and optimize classroom use, while balancing the academic objectives of departments and faculties, professors' schedules, and the availability of space.
- Identify possible constraints on achieving best practices.
- Advise the Registrar on a multi-year implementation of the new time tabling software and on its operation.
- Recommend the design of standard reports on classroom use.
- Recommend the steps to be taken to develop policies and procedures for the use of classrooms and teaching labs.
- Consult, as necessary, with APPC and other University committees.
