Gairdner Lecture Event

INSPIRING THE NEXT GENERATION OF SCIENTISTS!

Once again, we are excited to invite you and your students to join us for our Gairdner Lecture event!

The Gairdner lecture series invites award-winning scientists working in the field of biomedical research to speak with students in hopes of motivating the next generation of scientists. This year Dr. Peter Hegemann, eminent scientist and recipient of the 2018 Canada Gairdner International Award, will speak about his career and cutting-edge research. This is a rare opportunity for students to ask a successful scientist about the path that led to his achievements.

After the lecture, students will be treated to lunch and will take part in a fun and interactive activity.

DATE: Monday October 22 2018

TIME: 10:00 am to 2:00 pm

WHO: This event is open to Quebec high school students in grades 9,10 and 11.
