Community Engagement and Volunteering

Welcome to the Community Engagement branch of SEDE!

Are you interested in learning about equity, diversity and social justice through engaging with the Montreal community?  Do you want to set up community placements for your courses but lack the time or contacts to set up mutually-beneficial and impactful collaborations?  SEDE's Community Engagement branch can connect you to community-based organizations around Montreal, help broker experiential, community-engaged learning projects in your courses through ExCELR and provide training and reflection facilitation.  We also host a number of events, workshops, and projects that can help you and your students get involved in the Montreal community.

Check out our projects below for more information and how you can get involved!
