Become a CED Project Developer or Facilitator!

Play an important role in creating an eye-opening, educational and fun experience for participants while representing McGill and CED with our Montreal community partners.

You have a choice to either:

  • Develop a CED project this summer (up to 20 hours total) and facilitate your volunteers' participation in the project during CED.
  • Facilitate your volunteers' participation in a project already developed by the CED Program Coordinator.

Whether you help develop a project or facilitate an existing project, here are the duties of the Project Facilitator:

  • Attend one 4-hour or two 2-hour Project Facilitator Orientation sessions (TBD, choice of late August or early September)
  • Email your participants the week before CED with a reminder, information about the project, reflection questions, when and where to meet
  • Meet your participants at the CED HQ on campus and escort group to the project (public transit tickets provided)
  • Act as the liaison between the volunteers and your contact at the Montreal community partner
  • Facilitate a critical reflection discussion after the activity

Incentives:
