DESCRIPTION:This interactive workshop is designed to equip participants wit
 h essential knowledge and practical strategies to better understand\, supp
 ort\, and include neurodivergent employees in the workplace. Participants 
 will gain insights into the diversity of neurocognitive profiles and how t
 hey may manifest in professional settings. Through discussion and real-wor
 ld scenarios\, they will explore common barriers faced by neurodivergent i
 ndividuals\, consider inclusive approaches to workplace interactions\, and
  reflect on how to create environments that value and accommodate neurodiv
 erse ways of thinking and working. The session will also highlight availab
 le resources at McGill\, including accommodation processes and supports fo
 r both employees and managers.\n	\n	By attending this workshop\, participant
 s will be better able to:\n\n\n	Identify different manifestations of neurod
 iversity and impacts of ableism in the workplace\n	Explore ways to enhance 
 the inclusion of neurodivergent employees\n	Reflect on various scenarios th
 at may arise and determine best practices for intervening and supporting\n
 	Summarize available resources including processes for accommodations at Mc
 Gill\n\n\n\n	Note that an Outlook calendar invitation and Zoom link will be
