DESCRIPTION:This workshop offers practical tips for increasing accessibilit
 y in teaching that instructors can implement while planning their courses.
  The session is designed to increase participants’ awareness of barriers t
 hat students experience in the classroom\, and show how instructors can fa
 cilitate and promote equitable access to learning. Instructors will discov
 er that planning with accessibility in mind does not solely benefit studen
 ts with disabilities\, but provides supports for a diversity of learners.
 \n\nBy attending this workshop\, instructors will be able to:\n\n\n	Identif
 y barriers that students with disabilities experience in various instructi
 onal settings (e.g. lectures\, conference\, discussions\, exams)\n	Analyze 
 sample case studies\, and identify opportunities to enhance accessibility
 \n	Locate available tools and resources to support accessibility at McGill
