Courtney Wile is a Harassment and Discrimination Officer in the Office for Mediation and Reporting (OMR), in the Office of the Provost and Vice-Principal (Academic). In this role, Courtney conducts consultations and provides information on McGill’s Policy on Harassment and Discrimination and McGill's Policy against Sexual Violence. She also carries out investigations and mediations under McGill's Policy on Harassment and Discrimination.

Courtney’s prior professional background is as a lawyer and classical trombonist. She holds a Bachelor of Music (Performance) from Acadia University, a Master of Music (Orchestral Performance) from McGill University, and a Bachelor of Civil Law and Bachelor of Common Law from McGill University.

Courtney is a lawyer in good standing with the Law Society of Upper Canada. She practiced family law in Toronto for several years before relocating to Montreal and joining the Equity Team at McGill.
