Sinead Hunt, Senior Equity and Inclusion Advisor (SEIA)
Sinead Hunt is Senior Equity and Inclusion Advisor (SEIA) in the Office of the Provost and Vice-Principal (Academic). She oversees the integration of equity work at the University with the operationalization of McGill’s Policy on Harassment and Discrimination Prohibited by Law. Sinead responds to inquiries, receives complaints, and oversees the Assessors who conduct investigations under this policy as well as develops and delivers equity training to the University community. Sinead joined McGill in 2017. Previously, she worked in several sub-Saharan African countries on human rights issues and practiced law in California in the areas of disability law, criminal law, and child welfare law.
Sinead holds a BA in International Relations from Pomona College, an MA in International Relations from Yale University, and a JD from Yale Law School.

Cindy Mancuso, Coordinating Assessor
Cindy Mancuso began her developmental assignment as Coordinating Assessor in the Office of the Provost and Vice-Principal (Academic) in September 2019. She is responsible for carrying out and supporting investigations conducted under the Policy on Harassment and Discrimination Prohibited by Law. Cindy works closely with the Senior Equity and Inclusion Advisor, and with the Associate Provost (Equity and Academic Policies) to ensure the Policy’s effective and equitable operation.
Cindy is from Student Services where she worked as a Career Counsellor and Diversity Advisor. She is a licensed psychologist and a career counsellor who has been working with diverse and marginalized populations for over 20 years. Cindy is an active member of the McGill community having been on various equity-focused committees such as the Joint Board-Senate Committee on Equity, The Equity Subcommittee on Queer people, the Senate Subcommittee on Women, and the Indigenous Affairs Workgroup.
Cindy holds a BA in Sociology and Psychology from Concordia University, and a M.Ed. in Counselling Psychology from McGill University, and is a member of l’Ordre des Psychologues du Québec.

Li Zhou, Project Coordinator
Li Zhou is a resourceful professional who holds a Master’s Degree in Educational Leadership from McGill University and has over 10 years’ experience in Administration. As the Project Coordinator, she has been providing efficient and effective support to ensure the smooth operations of the unit by overseeing the Finance, HR and administration infrastructure. She’s also involved in diverse projects, supporting the Program Advisors with logistic, financial and data analysis initiatives.
