The Canadian Registration Board of Occupational Hygienists is a non-profit organization mandated to establish the norms for professional compentence for registered occupational hygienists and occupational hygiene technologists across Canada. Registration with the CRBOH confers the right to use the designation Registered Occupational Hygienist (ROH) or Registered Occupational Hygiene Technologist (ROHT).
The Canadian Board of Occupational Medicine was established to "encourage the study, improve the practice and elevate the standards of occupational medicine throughout Canada." It is incorporated federally to certify competence of those physicians with special knowledge of occupational medicine.Examinations are held once a year in either English or French.
Offered by the Canadian Nurses Association (CNA), the certification credential is part of a respected national certification program. The program is developed by Canadian nurses for Canadian nurses. This credential reflects the unique elements and challenges required to reward excellence in nursing.
