Occupational Health Sciences Program is under the aegis of the Department of Epidemiology, Biostatistics and Occupational Health of the Faculty of Medicine.

The academic objectives of the Program are:

Graduate Studies

The graduate programs in the Department of Epidemiology, Biostatistics and Occupational Health encompass three broadly defined disciplines. The different prerequisites and training requirements in these three disciplines are described in the specific web pages.

The programs leading to a Master’s degree are designed to provide training in both theory and practice in the selected discipline, with an opportunity to synthesize the training in the form of either a thesis or a project. The department, unfortunately, cannot guarantee funding for Master’s students.

Chair's Message

The Department of Epidemiology and Biostatistics and Occupational Health, an integral part of McGill's Faculty of Medicine, is based in Purvis Hall, one of several old mansions in the historic "Golden Square Mile" of Montreal now part of the McGill campus.
