Suggested Courses

Suggested Courses for the Minor (or Minor Concentration) in Environment

The List is divided into two Thematic Categories. They are Social Sciences and Policy, and Natural Sciences and Technology.

1) Most courses listed at the 300 level and higher have prerequisites. Although instructors may waive prerequisite(s) in some cases, students are urged to prepare their program of study well before their final year.

2) This list is not exhaustive. Courses not on the list may be included in the Minor or Diploma with the permission of kathryn.roulet [at] mcgill.ca (Kathy Roulet), the Program Adviser.

3) Some courses on the Suggested Courses List may be subject to other regulations.  (For example, Faculty of Science students should be aware that some of the courses listed here are Restricted Courses (for Science students) and they will not receive credit for them.)  See: kathryn.roulet [at] mcgill.ca (Kathy Roulet) for further information.

4) Courses marked (M) are offered on the Macdonald Campus.
