 essels 16\n\n				\n				Brandy Nālani McDougall is the ahupuaʻa of Aʻapueo in Kula\
 , Maui\, McDougall is the author of two poetry collections\, “The Salt-Win
 d\, Ka Makani Paʻakai” (Kuleana ʻŌiwi Press\, 2008) and “ʻĀina Hānau\, Bir
 th Land” (University of Arizona Press\, 2023). McDougall's critical monogr
 aph\, “Finding Meaning: Kaona and Contemporary Hawaiian Literature” (Unive
 rsity of Arizona Press\, 2016)\, is the first extensive study of contempor
 ary Hawaiian literature\; it won the 2017 Beatrice Medicine Award for Scho
 larship in American Indian Studies.\n\n				Kayla Czaga is a BC based poet whos
 e works have been included in The Best Canadian Poetry in English series e
 ight times\, Czaga is the author of award-winning poetry collections inclu
 ding “Midway” (House of Anansi @houseofanansi\, 2024)\, “Dunk Tank” (House
  of Anansi\, 2019)\, and “For Your Safety Please Hold On” (Nightwood Editi
 ons @nightwood_editions\, 2014).\n\n				Sheryda Warrener is the author of “Har
 d Feelings” (2010\, Invisible Books)\, “Floating Is Everything” (2015\, Ha
 rbour Publishing)\, and most recently\, “Test Piece” (2022\, Coach House B
 ooks)\, Warrener is a lecturer in the School of Creative Writing at UBC\, 
 and a curator of The Provocation Collection\, which is a series of materia
