Masters to PhD Fast-Track Award
The Masters to Phd Fast-Track award provides competitive recruitment funding to assist in attracting more high-calibre domestic Masters students to the Faculty of Engineering’s Masters and PhD programs by focusing on research Masters students who are identified by a perspective supervisor as having the potential for PhD studies and who are themselves interested in pursuing PhD studies.
This award is in the amount of $15,000 for 12 months of Masters study and $24,000 per year for 3 years within the MEDA-Domestic program or $32,000 per year for 3 years within the MEDA-International program, for a total of $87,000 (Domestic) or $111,000 (International) over 4 years. Students are identified during their time of application in the Masters program. No additional application is required.
