Empower is pleased to be offering the opportunity for thirty (30) Faculty of Engineering students and ten (10) Desautels Faculty of Management students to attend How to Change the World | Recovery Canada.
This program is a fully-virtual experiential education opportunity designed for you to engage with corporate, government and NGO partners while collaborating in multi-disciplinary teams to tackle complex societal challenges focusing on post-coronavirus social and economic recovery. By the end of the program, you will have developed and showcased your new implementable ideas for positive change in Canada and around the world.
The program will introduce you to the UN Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) and Canadian Grand Engineering Challenges (CEGCs) as frameworks to help you analyze and understand both global and local post-coronavirus social and economic recovery challenges and design workable solutions.
Applications are due Thursday August 6th, 4p.m.
Selected participants will be notified Friday August 7th. Additional program details will be available the following week to selected participants.
