Rob Pozeg
Rob Pozeg (he/him) is an Education Consultant involved in Action xDesign. His role is first to give roots to the program through thoughtful strategy, goals, and vision; and second, to help our everyday actions, relationships, and pedagogy be in full pursuit of our vision. Rob believes that the world is a fascinating place, and Action xDesign is about being actively engaged in shaping it for the better!
Marie-Chantal Plouffe
Marie-Chantal Plouffe (she/her) is a Political Sciences and Communications student at McGill University. Her position within Action xDesign is the Communication Assistant for Events, and she ensures that the program is coordinated smoothly and efficiently. Her work at Action xDesign provides an opportunity for her to further develop her professional skills and be involved in meaningful work in youth outreach. She is looking forward to contributing to the team and to the projects planned for this year!
Midhat Noor Kiyani
Midhat Noor Kiyani (she/her) is a second-year PhD Student in Educational Studies (Science & Mathematics Education) at McGill's Faculty of Education. Owing to her unique background in Mechatronics Engineering and Interdisciplinary (STEM/STEAM) education, she is working with Action X Design as a Programmer. In her role, Midhat leads workshops to engage youth in the engineering design cycle approach. Midhat is excited to be part of E-IDEA's Action X Design program as it allows her to support the young generation in creating positive change in their local communities.
Odira Ofordueme
Odira Ofordueme (she/her) is a graduate student of Electrical Engineering at McGill University, under the MasterCard Foundation Scholars Program. As an Action xDesign Programmer, she plans and coordinates workshops at the Kahnawake Youth Centre, teaching students about engineering and problem-solving skills. She is passionate about engineering and providing quality education and protection for the vulnerable.
Ada Bierling
Ada Bierling (they/them) is an Action xDesign Communication Assistant. They contribute to telling the story of Action xDesign through photo, video, and written content. They are completing their Masters of Information Studies at McGill, and are curious about community-based information sharing practices.
