We are honoured to be hosting  Charlene Li as part of 2021’s Samuel Aberman Annual Leadership Seminar. Charlene Li has over 20 years of experience in tech and business and was named one of the Top 50 Leadership Innovators by Inc. She will be sharing her expertise on digital transformation, leadership, customer experience, and the future of work.

The seminar will be presented by Alexandra Conliffe (B.Eng ’04), a McGill alumna, Rhodes Scholar, and the Director of Grants & Organizational learning at the McCall McBain Foundation.

About Charlene Li
For the past two decades, Charlene Li has been helping people see the future. She’s an expert on digital transformation, leadership, customer experience, and the future of work. She’s the author of six books, including the New York Times bestseller, Open Leadership and co-author of the critically acclaimed book, Groundswell. Her latest book is the bestseller The Disruption Mindset. She is the Founder and Senior Fellow at Altimeter, a disruptive analyst firm acquired in 2015 by Prophet. Samuel Aberman was a graduate of McGill University’s Faculty of Engineering (BEng'65). Sam began his illustrious career as a builder and developer in 1968 when he founded Divco Ltd. For over forty-two years he was renowned for his ingenuity, keen sense of innovation, and a dauntless ability to concretize his many projects. Sam’s company Divco has a corporate motto which proudly states “Building Beyond Expectations”. This hard-won achievement, fortified by determination, foresight and commitment, ranked Sam among the rare group of individuals who immeasurably improved the community. 

This event has been made possible through a generous gift from the Aberman family in honour of Samuel Aberman.
