DESCRIPTION:The TechIdea Pitch competition encourages McGill students\, wor
 king in teams\, to propose new technologically-based ideas/solutions that 
 solve real world problems. This year's pitch competition is taking place o
 n January 29th\, 2026 during the John D. Thompson Entrepreneurial Developm
 ent Seminar. Up to 5 teams will be selected to compete\, each team will ha
 ve 3 minutes to present their TechIdea pitch to a panel of judges from the
  business and entrepreneurial community. Judges will have 2 minutes to ask
  questions and give feedback.\n\nFinalists will have a chance to win cash 
 prizes\; $500\, $250\, $100 and a bonus $50 audience favourite!\n\nHow It 
 Works\n\n\n	Students submit their TechIdea before the deadline on January 1
 2th 2026\, 11:59PM (ET)\n	Up to top 5 ideas are selected and coaching is pr
 ovided to help them develop their pitch\n	Finalists pitch their idea during
  the 13th Annual John D. Thompson Entrepreneurial Development Seminar on J
 anuary 29th\, 2026\n	Top 3 pitches win cash prizes of $500\, $250 and $100
