 lable here!\n	Apply today!\n\nThe William and Rhea Seath Awards (WRSAs) hav
 e been made possible thanks to the generosity of Faculty of Engineering al
 umnus\, the late Mr. William Seath (B.Eng. 1952). These awards support McG
 ill University Faculty of Engineering tenure-track professors and their gr
 aduate students by enabling them to accelerate their technology that is re
 ported as an invention but needs further validation prior to commercializa
 tion.\n\nUp to two equal awards of $25\,000 for projects up to 12 months i
 s given as part of this annual competition. They are reviewed by the McGil
 l Engine Director and awarded by the Dean of the Faculty of Engineering ba
 sed on the recommendation of a committee composed of faculty\, industry an
 d alumni members. Recipients use the grant to further develop their techno
 logies in conjunction with their commercialization plan. Examples of eligi
 ble support activities: development\, testing\, prototype construction\, p
 ersonnel costs (stipends\, salaries & benefits).\n\nProgram Objectives\n\n
 \n	Validate early stage technologies\n	Advance the invention's Technology Re
 adiness Level\n	Accelerate the technology’s commercialization and developme
 nt plan - achieve product-market fit faster\n	Further develop the research 
 to strengthen eligibility for additional funding\n	Research team works clos
 ely with the assigned Ronald Chwang Entrepreneurs-in-Residence\, gaining f
 rom their experience\, knowledge\, and industry connections\n\n
