Student Accessibility & Achievement (formerly the Office for Students with Disabilities) is a member of McGill Student Services that provides support for students to facilitate and support the inclusion of diverse learners.
Within its wider mandate, Student Accessibility & Achievement strives to:
- Facilitate wider access to learning
- Promote Universal Design as the model selected to achieve appropriate access for all learners.
- Support students who feel access remains an issue for them.
Student Accessibility and Achievement works with students who have documented disabilities, mental health conditions, chronic health conditions, or other impairments. These may be temporary, permanent, or episodic. If you’re experiencing barriers to your education or difficulties in your learning, whether as an undergraduate or graduate student, you’re encouraged to book an appointment with an Access Services Advisor to discuss them and determine what resources or accommodations will help to make your time at McGill a success.
You can learn more about our appointment types and booking process on our Contact page.
