DESCRIPTION:The Dept. of Geography is organizing two 20 hour Wilderness Fir
 st Aid course in April.\n\n \n\nThe next 20 hour Wilderness First Aid cour
 ses will be at Mac campus on June 8 an 9. The instructor will be from www.
 siriusmed.com.\n\nSaturday June 8th\, 08h30 am to about 10 pm. It is a lon
 g day. And\n\nSunday June 9th\, 08h30 to 17h30. \n\n \n\nA minimum of 7 co
 mmitted participants is required to run a course.\n\nIf we have fewer than
  7 participants before the course\, the group will have the option of payi
 ng slightly more per person\, so the course goes ahead.\n\n \n\nTraining a
 nd topics.\n\n\n	CPR and AED cardiac defibrilation.\n	First Aid treatment of
  injuries - basics and specifics for remote locations.\n	Assessing and stab
 ilizing injuries in preparation for emergency evacuation.\n	3 - 4 outdoor s
 imulations near Burnside Hall.\n\n\n \n\nCertification and first aid books
  will be provided.\n\n \n\nSome research grants cover the cost of Wilderne
 ss First Aid training\, so ask your supervisors.\n\n \n\nCost. The cost pe
 r participant will be $250 including taxes. [To be confirmed]\n\nLocation
