 ing radiation\; Sources of exposure\; Dose limits\; Radiation protection p
 rinciples\; Environmental surveillance and dosimetry\; Radiation safety ma
 nagement\; Safe laboratory work practices\; Emergency procedures\; Useful 
 radiation safety formulae and how to receive and transport radioisotope pa
 ckages.\n\nCertification: A course certificate is presented to participant
 s who successfully complete a written examination.\n\nDuration:  9h00 to 1
 8h00 (9h00-16h00 for the course and 16h00-18h00 for the Exam)\n\nCost (McG
 ill): Free for the McGill Community (students\, staff and faculty).\n\nCos
 t (Non-McGill): $50 (if paid by PI)\; $200.00 per person plus applicable t
 axes for other payment methods.\n\nExamination information: The exam is co
 mpulsory for all staff and students under McGill's permit. Course notes\, 
 English-French or English-another language dictionary and a scientific cal
 culator are allowed during the exam. The exam consists of 50 multiple-choi
