DESCRIPTION:The next 20-hour Wilderness First Aid course will be offered Ap
 ril Friday 28\, Sat. 29\, Sun. 30\, 2023.\n\n \n\nThe Friday evening secti
 on of the course is 18h00 – 22h00\, might include outdoor night time simul
 ations.\n\n \n\nThe Saturday and Sunday training are at 08h30-18h00 and wi
 ll include\n\n \n\n\n	CPR and AED cardiac defibrilation.\n	First Aid treatme
 nt of injuries - basics and specifics for remote locations.\n	Assessing and
  stabilizing injuries in preparation for emergency evacuation.\n	3 - 4 outd
 oor simulations near Burnside Hall.\n\n\n \n\nThe course will be conducted
  by Atout Plus\, that has offered courses on campus for many years.\n\n20 
 hour WFA and CPR AED Certifications will be provided.\n\n \n\nThe cost is 
 $217 per student plus taxes.\n\nParticipants are asked to pay either by e-
 transfer or by credit card at the Atout Plus online store.\n\nLink to sign

 \nSome research grants cover the cost of Wilderness First Aid training\, s
 o ask your supervisors.\n\nMembership with McGill Outdoors Club MOC might
