The Centre for Human Rights and Legal Pluralism is proud to host the Global Conference on Democracy, Human Rights and the Fragility of Freedom. The Conference will address key issues regarding democratic citizenship and the protection of fundamental rights and freedoms, as speakers engage with the complexities that arise both globally and locally in movements for democratic participation, and with different approaches to nurturing democratic institutions and engagement..

You will be able to select your Ticket Type on the Conference Registration page. Paid conference registration includes entry to the free opening plenary.
We are unable to provide help with visa or travel arrangements; these are handled by registrants themselves. No letters in support of visa applications will be issued without confirmation of paid conference registration. Please register for the conference before requesting a letter in support of your visa application, and cite your registration confirmation number in your visa letter request.
Pricing for students has changed. Students who registered after January 31 (when the early bird prices ended) will be reimbursed the difference.
