Embark on a fulfilling career as a secondary school educator specializing in the social sciences! McGill's B.Ed. Secondary Education program is crafted to equip you with the knowledge, skills, and hands-on experience needed to launch your career in teaching, curriculum development, youth leadership, or other mentorship roles. Apart from becoming specialized in social science curricula, you will learn about educational foundations, pedagogy, and have the opportunity for practical learning through student-teaching field experiences. Note: It is strongly recommended that students applying to this program should be comfortable teaching in French during their field experiences, as most local high schools provide social science instruction in French.

Shape young minds and nurture the love of the social sciences while being inspired and guided by McGill experts.
