Enrico Quilico (MA, 2015) inspiration to brain injury survivors

Published: 25 July 2016

Enrico Quilico (MA, 2015), alumnus of our Department of Kinesiology and Physical Education, is helping to raise funds for Brain Injury Canada by participating this weekend's Ironman Triathlon in Lake Placid, VT.

Over ten years ago, Quilico was involved in a motorcycling accident. He was lucky to survive. Now, after rehabilitation for his severe brain injury, he is a graduate of education programs at both McGill and Concordia, and will be teaching adult literacy this autumn.

Last week Montreal Gazette's Susan Schwartz interviewed Enrico and wrote a feature on his inspiring life: "From strength to strength: Survivor of traumatic brain injury participates in Ironman triathlon".
