Third Annual McGill Minds in Motion Conference Announced!

The Department of Kinesiology & Physical Education is happy to announce the third annual Minds in Motion (MIM) Conference on March 1st-2nd, 2024!

The student-organized conference, which will take place on McGill campus, will be open to undergraduate and graduate students throughout Canada who are conducting research in the fields of kinesiology and physical education.

This event will continue to highlight the quality and diversity of research being done in kinesiology & physical education at McGill and across Canada. This year's theme is "Embracing Technology & AI in the Evolution of Kinesiology and Physical Education". Abstracts for project proposals, studies in progress or complete data sets from any area within Kinesiology and Physical Education are all encouraged. Students can submit abstracts for 3-Minute Thesis, oral, and poster presentations.

Rachel Shapiro, 2nd year MSc Student and Vice-President of Research on the Kinesiology & Physical Education Graduate Committee, is leading the organization of this year’s conference. Along with the help of the MIM student committee, she is very excited to present an opportunity for students to showcase their work within the scope of KPE research from all across Canada.

Registration and Abstract Submission are now OPEN! Early-bird Registration deadline is January 26th and Abstract Submission deadline is February 2nd. Late Registration will close February 10th.
