Introducing McGill Education’s Social Sharing Contest!
On March 10th, McGillians around the world will celebrate McGill24, our online day of giving. To create awareness and inspire participation, the Faculty of Education is giving away two $50 gift cards: one to Chapters Indigo and another to local favorite Italian snack bar, Mano Cornuto!
How to Win:
- Follow Faculty of Education’s social pages and profiles (see list below)
- On March 10th, share McGill Education’s McGill24 posts on your social media profiles
- Take a screenshot of each post you’ve shared and email it with your student number in the subject line to edmarketing [at] mcgill.ca
- Each time you share a McGill24 post on Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, or LinkedIn, email us a screenshot and you have a chance to win. (Example: One share on Facebook is one entry. Same post shared on Instagram is a second entry.)
- Want additional contest entries? Using the McGill24 Party Pack, create your own McGill24 post using the hashtag #McGill24 and the link https://mcgill.ca/x/oAq. Submit these entries like the other ones, emailing your social profile screenshots to edmarketing [at] mcgill.ca with your student number in the subject line.
- More entries mean more chances to win! Keep sharing all day long and enter as many times as you like!
Contest Rules:
- Only currently enrolled McGill students in the Faculty of Education undergraduate, graduate, certificate, diploma, and OFNIE programs are eligible to win.
- Screenshot must demonstrate clear proof that the post was shared on your social media profile, as well as a time stamp. Emails without a student number in the subject line will be disqualified.
- All emailed entries must be sent from your McGill email account to edmarketing [at] mcgill.ca
- Contest applies only to sharing posts created on McGill Education and Department/Office social media profiles as listed below or unique posts by McGill Education students. Sharing posts from McGill University, McGill Alumni, or other McGill faculties/units’ social feeds does not result in a valid contest entry.
- Contest begins at midnight on March 10, 2021 and ends at midnight onMarch 11, 2021
- Winners of the $50 Chapters Indigo and Mano Cornuto gift cards will be contacted via email on March 12th and have 24 hours to respond in order to claim their prize.
