 an internationally renowned econometrician whose contributions to economet
 ric theory\, statistical inference\, specification testing\, and\, in part
 icular\, bootstrap methods have been foundational and widely cited. His wo
 rk has had a lasting influence on both the theory and practice of modern e
 conometrics. Beyond his research contributions\, Russell is known to gener
 ations of economists worldwide through his influential textbooks\, from wh
 ich hundreds of thousands of students have learned econometrics. The works
 hop brings together his colleagues\, co-authors\, former students and frie
 nds\, including participants travelling from as far away as Australia\, to
