Application deadlines

September (Fall) Admission

Application form and all supporting documents and test scores must be received by:

• December 15th for domestic and international applicants
• Fall 2025 admission deadline has been extended to April 1, 2025, for American/US applicants

January (Winter) Admission

Application form and all supporting documents and test scores must be received by:

• August 1st for international applicants
• October 15th for domestic applicants

Domestic applicants that wish to be considered for Faculty Awards must apply by the August 1st deadline. The Department accepts most of its graduate students for September admission.  The chance of acceptance for January admission is significantly lower.  Admission is highly competitive and places are extremely limited.

May (Summer) Admission

The Department of Electrical and Computer Engineering does not accept applications for May admission.
