 ering significant reforms to its Project Grant program\, including moving 
 to a single annual competition and revising its peer review model in respo
 nse to growing application volumes\, increasing challenges in recruiting a
 nd retaining peer reviewers.\n\nAs part of its consultation with the resea
 rch community\, CIHR representatives will meet with McGill stakeholders to
  present emerging proposals and solicit feedback on the potential implicat
 ions of these reforms for researchers and institutions at 10 AM – 12 PM\, 
 Friday\, September 18\, in the McIntyre Medical Building\, room 208/9\, 36
 55 Promenade Sir-William-Osler\, Montreal\, Quebec H3G 1Y6.\n\nThe discuss
 ion will provide an opportunity to exchange perspectives and contribute to
  CIHR's efforts to strengthen the effectiveness\, sustainability\, and fai
 rness of Project Grant program. Researchers from all disciplines are welco
 me to attend. Please register in advance by September 15. (NOTE: Capacity
