Is there any cost for the medical exams/procedures?
No. This is a pivotal advantage DOvEE offers for its eligible patients - all exams and procedures are covered by the Régie de l'Assurance Maladie du Québec (R.A.M.Q.)
Is a physician referral required to participate in the DOvEE Project?
No. The fact that you do not need to be referred by a doctor clearly proves the easy, linear accessibility of DOvEE's services.
Is any fasting/preparation required for the blood test and transvaginal ultrasound?
No. You do not need to fast nor prepare for the medical exams, unless you were told otherwise.
What if I need to cancel and/or reschedule my appointment(s)?
Please give us a 24h advance notification of your foreseen absence for your appointment with us. You may let us know so by phone or email.
When will I receive my results?
Your CA 125 blood test results will be available 24 hours after your blood has been collected. You will receive a complete medical report, with all your results, once you've gone through both standard appointments with us.
Will my results be sent to my doctor?
Yes, with your consent to do so.
I would like to promote the DOvEE Project in my community; Do you have any promotional material?
We would like to first thank you for your kindness in helping us spread awareness regarding Ovarian and Endometrial cancers. We have multiple promotional materials, such as pamphlets, posters (small and large), and magnetic cards. Please contact us if you are interested.
I would like to partner up with the DOvEE Project in raising intellectual awareness and monetary funds for the cause. How can I do so?
If you believe that you and/or your business are passionate about partnering up with the DOvEE Team in the field of promotion, please do not hesitate to contact us by phone or e-mail. We would be more than happy to discuss the potential of our collaboration.
