DESCRIPTION:The 8-hour Startup Boot Camp will teach you the first steps to 
 launch your venture! Developers\, designers and business people will all c
 ome together to gain insight on building both for-profit and social enterp
 rise startups.\n\nPart 1: A guest speaker from the Montreal Startup Commun
 ity will share his experience and give you tips on the do’s and don’ts of 
 entrepreneurship. Participants with no idea will spend the morning in the 
 Inspiration Station to brainstorm and learn about ways to start a new vent
 ure. Participants with an idea will have the opportunity to Pitch and get 
 feedback in front of judges (comprised of McGill Lean Startup Alumni\, McG
 ill X-1 Accelerator Alumni and Mentors).\n\nPart 2: For the second part of
  the day\, workshops around the Value Proposition\, Customer Validation\, 
 Customer Segments\, Channels and Building a Pitch will be offered to all p
 articipants. Mentors will come to spend time with the different teams and 
 help them build their business canvases and slide deck. This will be compl
 emented with an overview of the McGill Dobson Cup guidelines for those app
 lying. The day will end with final pitches from the top teams!\n\nLunch an
