 Director – Define the Line Projects for “Defining the Legal Lines: Youth C
 yber-bullying and Wellbeing” conference on November 20\, 2013 at the McGil
 l Faculty Club Ballroom.  The recent Throne Speech delivered in Senate Cha
 mbers confirmed the Federal government's intent to develop legislation to 
 address cyber-bullying and online sexual abuse. Now at the top of Canadian
  public policy agendas\, the conference offers a timely opportunity to con
 sider legal and policy issues such as the challenges of balancing the righ
 t to free online expression with privacy\, security\, supervision and regu
 lation. Legal scholars will join scholars from education\, psychology and 
 information systems to address context\, complexities and the current poli
 cy vacuum. The conference will help clarify emerging legal concerns for te
 achers\, school principals\, school board officials\, parents\, school cou
 nselors and librarians. The conference is co-sponsored by the Institute of
  Human Development and Wellbeing\, and the Dean of Students Office at McGi
