 unity\, both students and faculty\, to come together and share their work 
 in research and pedagogy. In DISE\, we are fortunate to have a group of st
 udents and faculty who come from varied backgrounds and use a wide range o
 f research and pedagogical approaches.\n\nDISE Research Talks! celebrates 
 this diversity. Some aims of the forum are:\n\n\n	to promote a culture of e
 xchange within DISE\;\n	to enable presenters to discuss the challenges of t
 heir works-in-progress\;\n	to foster a culture of constructive and critical
  feedback\;\n	to foster a spirit of collaboration among DISE course instruc
 tors\;\n	to provide a forum for students (and faculty) to practice their pr
 esentation skills.\n\n\n \n
