DISE Book Club | "Seven Fallen Feathers” (Talaga, 2017)

Faculty and students are invited to join us in The Department of Integrated Studies in Education for the first book in our new series on exploring Indigenous education and the TRC’s Calls to Action for Education. The first book discussion will be generated after participants read Seven Fallen Feathers (Talaga, 2017),  Winner, 2018 RBC Taylor Prize; Winner of 2017 Shaughnessy Cohen Prize for Political Writing; and Literature Award from First Nation Communities Read.

Mindy R. Carter, PhD and Teresa Strong-Wilson, PhD will lead the conversation on this selection and if interested, you are asked to:

  • Come having read “Seven Fallen Feathers” on Tuesday October 16th from 12-1:30pm.
  • Bring your lunch!
  • Room 233
