Biography: 

Wei Qi is an assistant professor in Operations Management at the Desautels Faculty of Management at McGill University. 

His research interests include:

  • Smart-city analytics
  • Energy & transportation systems operations management (e.g. energy storage, electric vehicles, renewables)
  • New techno-economic models, e.g.:
  1. urban-scale systems integration
  2. sharing economy in e-commerce
  3. transactive energy
  • ​​​Supply chain design and management

Wei is also an affiliate of the China Energy Group, Energy Analysis and Environmental Impacts Division at the Lawrence Berkeley National Laboratory.
