The Smart-City Operations and Analytics Conference will take place virtually on Tuesday, October 20, 2020.
We are entering an era of great expectations towards our cities. The vision of “smart cities” has been pursued worldwide to transform urban habitats into superior efficiency, quality, and sustainability. This phenomenon prompts us operations management (OM) and operations research (OR) researchers to ponder what a smart city means through our lens, what roles to assume, and how to benefit our society. The goal of this event is to facilitate such discussions and interactions by virtually convening a diverse group of leading scholars to share their cutting-edge research as regards smart-city operations and analytics.
