Advisory Board

The role of the Advisory Board is to provide guidance and advice to the research conducted by the MSRC's members. The advisory board is formed by vice presidents and high ranking managers.

With the support from the board members, the Center ensures that its research activities remain focused on business issues and challenges industries are facing now. The Center intends to shift its emphasis from the development of pure research methodologies towards more focused algorithms and approaches to directly address real problems.

The first roundtable discussion with the members of the advisory board was held on May 11, 2001. We shared the information regarding on-going research interests and projects with board members and highlighted the importance of establishing long-term relationship between industry and academia in Canada.
