Financing Your CPA
Tuition fees for the Graduate Certificate in Professional Accounting (CPA) program are charged on a per credit basis. There are 24 credits required to complete the CPA. Non-tuition charges do apply. Additional fee will be charged for the Common Final Exam preparatory course.

Quebec Students: $74.14
Non-Quebec Canadian Students: $207.83 (the Quebec rate of $74.14 plus out of province supplement of $133.69)
International Students: $498.30

Once you have been admitted and registered in the Certificate, you must register in the Ordre’s (OCPAQ) Professional Education Program (PEP) as soon as your first term begins. After the fees are paid, you will have the right to access the educational material and the Securexam (CA) software.
Fellowships, awards, prizes
Lionel Pelham Kent Scholarship
Open to students entering the final year of the CPA program, who intend to continue their program of studies at McGill. Awarded by the Faculty of Management Scholarships Committee. The winner will be chosen based on outstanding skills in written and oral communication combined with high academic standing. Estimated value of $2,500.
Kenneth F. Byrd Prize and the C. Douglas Mellor Prize
Awarded to a student in the CPA program whose academic record is judged to be outstanding among those who graduate during the academic year. Estimated value of $2,300.
L'Ordre des comptables professionnels agréés Prize
One or more prizes are awarded on the basis of high academic standing to graduate students who have completed at least one year of the CPA program. Students must be registered in Professional Education (PEP) of the Ordre at the time of tenure of the prize.
