International Management Major

The unique International Management (IM) major integrates a business education with global studies, foreign language courses, and international experiences (through internship or exchange). This interdisciplinary major is highly customizable, allowing students to create a personalized curriculum that combines the areas of study that interest them most.

IM students develop global awareness and perspective which are essential for practising business in today’s borderless global economy. Graduates of the IM program are equipped with a diversity of skills which include cultural and professional adaptability, and a comprehensive understanding of international business, global society, public policy, and current issues of global importance.

The Washington Center Internship grants International Management Major students 15 credits:

  • BUSA 433 - 3 credits for course taught at Washington Centre
  • BUSA 498 - 6 credits internship course
  • BUSA 497 - 3 credits internship course
  • BUSA 401 - 3 credits with academic paper and supervisor, graded
