 ound autism. Drawing from his experience as a parent and member of Samson 
 Cree Nation\, Grant will explore ideas and concepts on how to better suppo
 rt Indigenous families with Autistic children by incorporating Indigenous 
 perspectives and knowledge into practice. Grant will also discuss the sign
 ificance of Indigenous culture and connection in creating healthy environm
 ents\, as well as explore practical tips for integrating holistic models i

 Dr. Grant Bruno Biography \n\nDr. Bruno is nêhiyaw (Plains Cree)\, a regis
 tered member of Samson Cree Nation\, and an Assistant Professor in the Dep
 artment of Pediatrics at the University of Alberta. With a background root
 ed in nêhiyaw understandings of health\, Dr. Bruno’s work focuses on creat
 ing culturally responsive healthcare models that support Indigenous childr
 en and youth\, particularly in the areas of neurodiversity and child and y
 outh health. As a proud First Nations scholar\, Dr. Bruno’s research weave
 s nêhiyaw knowledge systems and Western frameworks to create inclusive\, d
 ecolonized approaches to healthcare. Dr. Bruno is currently the Academic L
 ead Indigenous Child Health for the Women and Children’s Health Research I
 nstitute (WCHRI) and is the founder of the Ispimihk Awâsisak (Sky Children
  Program) and the Indigenous Caregiving Collective.\n
